Commercial Tile Supply Anaheim, CA

We supply tile for homes across Anaheim and Orange County.

On a commercial job, the tile itself is rarely the problem. The problems are a second order that does not match the first, a pallet that shows up before the floor is ready, or a spec that fails slip resistance at final inspection. City Tile & Cabinets has supplied tile and stone to contractors, builders, and property managers across Orange County since 1998, from our showroom on State College Boulevard, one mile from Angel Stadium in the center of the county.

Who We Supply

  • General contractors and builders on tenant improvements, ground-up projects, and renovations
  • Property managers and owners handling multifamily unit turns, common areas, and repairs
  • Designers and architects who need samples, spec sheets, and a supplier that can deliver what was specified
  • Hospitality, retail, and office projects that need consistent material across phases

What Commercial Orders Need That Retail Orders Don’t

Matching lots. Tile varies slightly in shade and size from one production run to the next. We pull your full quantity from the same lot whenever possible and note the lot numbers on your order, so a phase-two reorder can be matched.

Attic stock. We help you size the overage for cuts, breakage, and the extra boxes owners need for future repairs, so nobody is hunting for a discontinued tile two years later.

Submittals. Product data sheets, samples, and technical specifications are available for your submittal package.

Delivery around the job, not the warehouse. Material can be scheduled to arrive when the substrate is ready rather than sitting on site where it gets damaged or walks off.

Inventory you can see. Because we keep substantial stock, many standard commercial selections can ship without the lead times of a special order through a national supplier.

Specifying Tile for Commercial Floors

Commercial floors take traffic, rolling loads, and cleaning chemicals that residential floors never see. A few specs come up on almost every job:

  • Slip resistance. The Tile Council of North America recommends a minimum dynamic coefficient of friction (DCOF) of 0.42 for level interior floors expected to be walked on when wet, measured under ANSI A137.1. Lobbies, restrooms, and food service areas usually need it.
  • Accessibility. The 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design require floor surfaces on accessible routes to be firm, stable, and slip resistant, and limit changes in level, which affects transitions between tile and other flooring.
  • Flatness for large format. Tiles with an edge of 15 inches or longer need a much flatter substrate than standard tile. Budget for leveling on older slabs.
  • Rectified edges. Rectified porcelain allows tighter grout joints, a common request in retail and office finishes.

We will help match a tile to the spec or suggest an equal if a specified product is unavailable.

City Tile & Cabinets is a family-owned tile supplier serving Anaheim and Orange County for over 25 years. We carry porcelain, ceramic, natural stone, and mosaic tile from leading manufacturers and back every installation with experienced in-house crews. Our focus is straightforward: quality materials, honest pricing, and work done right the first time.

Setting Materials and Air Quality Rules

Orange County projects fall under the South Coast Air Quality Management District, whose Rule 1168 limits VOC content in adhesives and sealants. We stock thinset, grout, and setting materials suited to the tile we sell, so the whole assembly can come from one order.

Trade Accounts

Trade accounts include trade pricing across tile and stone, natural stone, flooring, countertops, and cabinets, one point of contact for every order, and coordinated delivery. Send us your finish schedule or plans and we will put together a quote.

Supply and Installation From One Company

If you need the tile installed as well as supplied, our own crew handles commercial tile installation, the same team behind our flooring installation work, so the same company is responsible for the material and the work.

Do you sell tile to contractors who use their own installers?

Yes. Many trade customers buy material only. Installation by our crew is available if you want it.

Can you hold material for a project that starts later?

Ask us when you order. For larger projects, reserving material from one lot early is the best way to keep shade consistent across phases.

What slip resistance rating do I need?

For level interior floors that will be walked on wet, the TCNA recommends a DCOF of at least 0.42. Your project specs or local code may require more for ramps, exterior areas, or pool decks.

Can I see full-size samples before ordering?

Yes. Our showroom displays full-size tile and slabs, and our project gallery shows finished work. Samples are available for submittals and client approvals.

Do you deliver?

Yes, delivery can be scheduled to the job site. Tell us your access, unloading, and timing requirements when you order.
